 New Rewards added today!

•   100-copy Numbered, Deluxe Edition Frozen Hell. Featuring a custom red cloth binding, special endpapers, and a bound-in bookmark, this exclusive deluxe edition of Frozen Hell is the perfect addition to any library. Limited to only 100 copies, each will be numbered and signed by John Gregory Betancourt. This reward also includes everything from the Ebook Bundle reward.

• 26-copy Lettered, Premium Signed Edition Frozen Hell. Limited to only 26 copies, this rare collectable edition of Frozen Hell features a custom red cloth binding, special endpapers, and a bound-in bookmark. Each copy is signed by Robert Silverberg, Bob Eggleton, Eric Nevala-Lee, and John Gregory Betancourt. This reward also includes everything from the Ebook Bundle reward.

• Appear in John Gregory Betancourt's Story! Author John Gregory Betancourt will use a name of your choosing for a character in the story he's writing for the $30,000 stretch goal. 3 character naming opportunities are available. The name used must be approved by the author, and must be a plausible real life name. (If the character is named for a real person, the namesake must sign a waiver allowing use of his or her name in the story). 

New Authors 

•  Author Paul Di Filippo will write a new Thing story for our backers. Di Filippo is the author of numerous acclaimed works of fiction, including The Steampunk Trilogy.

•  Author Mark McLaughlin will write a new Thing story for our backers. McLaughlin is an award-winning poet and prose writer with a focus on Lovecraftian fiction.  

• $50,000 award-winning author Alan Dean Foster will write a new Thing story for our backers. Alan Dean Foster is is the author of countless beloved science fiction novels and numerous film novelizations, including the novelizations of Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Foster was also the ghostwriter for the original Star Wars novelization.

•  $100,000 we will put together an anthology of all the stretch goal short stories. An ebook version of the anthology will be available to all backers, and a paperback version of the anthology will be made available as a new reward.

Thank you so much for getting this project funded in less than twelve hours. But we are not done yet! We still have our stretch goals to meet, and as soon as we do, you'll get amazing new art by a fantastic award-winning artist. You are helping to bring to life an important piece of literary history, and we are so grateful for it!

First of all, Kickstarter has now made Frozen Hell a project they love! So that is fantastic and we are very grateful for it.

Stretch Goals Unlocked! 

 We will be able to commission a new exclusive cover for Frozen Hell, drawn by Hugo Award-winning artist Bob Eggleton.

  Bob Eggleton will also create a set of original interior illustrations for Frozen Hell.

We did not expect you to blow through the stretch goals so fast. Right now we are brainstorming new ones and will have them up shortly.

Bob Eggleton has already started work on the new cover. Here is his super rough draft. As we get progress shots, we will share them. You will get to see the cover come alive from pencil to paints.

New stretch goal unlocked!

 Author G. D. Falksen will write a new Thing story for our backers. Falksen is the author of Doctor Cthulittle, The Transatlantic Conspiracy, and The Ouroboros Cycle series.

The story of the Thing is as vast as the universe itself. How many worlds have they visited? How many alien races have they encountered -- and conquered? We are challenging a few choice modern authors to craft their own Thing stories, using elements from "Frozen Hell" and "Who Goes There?" plus their own imaginations. All of these short stories will be given to all of our backers, published as ebooks in Kindle, epub, and .pdf formats.
